Showing Up for The Bronx: Our First Year in the Community

We want Honda of The Bronx to be part of this borough, not just located in it. Here’s where we’ve had the privilege of showing up so far, and an open invitation at the end.

A proud fall

October 1, 2025. Tour de Bronx kickoff reception. We joined the reception at Tobala celebrating New York State’s largest free cycling event. Jason, his wife Michelle, and our team were there, and we had the honor of meeting Borough President Vanessa Gibson. Thank you to The Bronx Tourism Council for the invitation and for everything they do for this borough.

October 10, 2025. MS 244. Jason spent a morning with students at The New School for Leadership and The Arts on West 231st Street for Latinos Make A Difference during Hispanic Heritage Month. We filmed it and released it as a short documentary, and it became our most-watched video ever with 3,500 views in the first two days. Thank you to Principal Eduardo Mora and to those students, whose questions were outstanding.

October 23, 2025. Bronx SBDC keynote. Jason delivered the keynote at The Bronx Small Business Development Center’s Celebration of Success luncheon at Lehman College, to a room full of Bronx business owners. Vanessa Joseph, the SBDC’s Regional Director, said afterward: “He’s such an amazing speaker and really inspires the room. I had a lot of folks coming up to me letting me know they’re inspired to continue their journey.” Thank you, Vanessa, and thank you to the whole SBDC team for the work you do for small businesses here.

October 31, 2025. Trunk or Treat. About 150 families came out to our first community event, with The Bronx Children’s Museum, Golden Corral, and From The Bronx making it happen. Full story here.

November 6, 2025. Latin Business Spirit Award. Latin Biz Today honored Jason with their Latin Business Spirit Award at the Spectrum of Success Gala. Thank you to Barry, Tina, and everyone at Latin Biz Today.

Our room is your room

Here’s something we’d love to share.

Our showroom is a big, comfortable space with screens, seating, heat, air conditioning, and parking. And most evenings after seven, it’s sitting empty.

Meanwhile block associations, youth leagues, and school groups all over this neighborhood are looking for somewhere to meet.

So the invitation is open: if your organization needs a room on East Tremont Avenue, it’s yours.
