We opened our doors for the World Cup, and The Bronx packed the room.

Sunday on East Tremont

On Sunday, July 19, we turned the showroom at 2541 East Tremont Avenue into a watch party for the World Cup final: Argentina vs. Spain! Screens up, sound up, high tops and chairs out on the floor, and the doors open to the block.

Our staff brought their families. Customers brought friends. And our favorite part of the whole afternoon: people driving down Tremont saw the crowd through the glass, parked, and came in to join us. Plenty of them stayed for the entire match.

Everybody in one room, pulling the same direction, cheering for the same thing. That’s the feeling we were hoping for, and the neighborhood delivered it.

BronxNet came out and ran the day as a news story, which we were thrilled about. Thank you to their whole team.

The raffle

At halftime we gave away three prizes:

  • A $100 gift certificate for parts and accessories
  • A free test drive of anything on the lot
  • A free oil change

Congratulations to our winners! The free oil change got the biggest cheer of the afternoon, which we loved.

Why we opened the doors

We’ve a big room with screens in it, and on a day when the whole borough wants to watch the same match, that room should be full.

Nobody got pitched and there were no forms at the door, same as our Trunk or Treat back in 2025. Since August 1, 2025, Jason has wanted this dealership to be a real part of the neighborhood, and days like this are the best version of that.

Back in May we shared that our showroom sits empty most evenings and that any Bronx organization who needs it should just ask. July 19 was that invitation taken up at full volume, and we’d love more of it.

To everybody who came out: thank you for spending your Sunday with us. And to our team, who set that room up on a weekend and broke it all down afterward with a smile, thank you. It was the best afternoon we’ve had all year.
