One Year on East Tremont Avenue: Thank You, The Bronx

One year ago today, Jason Montalvo became Co-Owner and Managing Partner of Honda of The Bronx.

It has been a wonderful year, and we owe most of it to this neighborhood. Here’s what it looked like.

A year of showing up

October 2025 was our busiest month, and our proudest. Jason spent a morning with students at MS 244 for Hispanic Heritage Month, and the documentary we made about it became our most-watched video ever. He gave the keynote at The Bronx Small Business Development Center’s luncheon at Lehman College. And on Halloween we cleared the showroom for Trunk or Treat, our first community event, and about 150 families came.

In November, Latin Biz Today honored Jason with the Latin Business Spirit Award.

And this July, we opened the showroom for a World Cup watch party. The room filled with staff families, customers, and neighbors who saw the crowd through the glass and walked in. BronxNet covered it as a news story.
